Christina McGarry serves as policy advisor to HLP&R, specializing in legislative policy and advocacy before executive agencies. Prior to joining the firm, Christina worked as a legislative assistant for Rep. Mario Diaz-Balart, where she handled appropriations, health care, labor, judiciary, and education issues. She also previously worked for Rep. Doc Hastings. In her years on Capitol Hill, Christina developed wide-ranging policy expertise and in-depth knowledge of the legislative process. Christina earned her bachelor’s degree in History and Politics from the University of Virginia.
