Daniella Landau is well-known for her strategic skills and her political and business network in Washington, major state and local jurisdictions, and key international markets. Daniella’s professional background places her at the nexus of business and government with experience in devising successful strategies and providing counsel to companies and non-profits seeking to achieve their business development, policy, and funding objectives. Working closely with the firm’s clients – from Fortune 100 corporations to early and growth-stage companies – Daniella leverages her expertise, informed perspective, and strategic skills to consistently deliver major wins in business development, public policy, funding, and enhanced social impact positioning.

Her areas of expertise include emerging technologies, infrastructure development, transportation, and smart cities solutions. Through her relationships in Washington and state capitals across the country, Daniella positions HLP&R’s clients to take advantage of a constantly evolving policy landscape, manage their reputation in government, and capitalize on the opportunities that follow.

Prior to co-founding HLP&R, Daniella served as Managing Director of Government Affairs for American Airlines. She also served as a senior advisor for two of Washington’s largest and most successful public affairs and public policy firms and as a media director for a leading Democratic political consulting firm. In these roles, she provided clients with legislative and regulatory advocacy, strategic positioning services, and media relations. She also previously worked for President Bill Clinton as a member of his official transition team.

A native of Brazil, Daniella has also conducted non-profit campaigns in Latin America for Child Hope International and the Center for Democracy.
